Lauren’s career working with children began in 2010 during her time at San Francisco State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Child and Adolescent Development. During this time, she began working with children at an after-school program which focused on academic performance and socio-emotional development. She completed her undergraduate degree in 2014 before moving to complete her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Puget Sound. She graduated in 2018 and moved to San Diego to complete an internship working with children with diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, Down syndrome, and Prader-Willi syndrome. When she is not at work Lauren can be found hiking, going to the movies, or exploring new restaurants throughout San Diego County.
