Jennifer Canaris is a Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist who received her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University, California. In addition, Jennifer has a Certificate of Specialized Training in Sensory Integration from the University of Southern California/ Western Psychological Services and, an Assistive Technology Certificate from the University of California, San Diego Extension Program. Jennifer also holds a Level 1 Handwriting Without Tears Certification. She also has specialized training in Therapeutic Listening, The Zones of Regulation, and SOS Approach to Feeding.

Jennifer has 21 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist. She has been in private-practice for 19 years and has worked with private and public school systems, families, and early intervention clients. She has been a guest lecturer/speaker at local public and private colleges and organizations throughout San Diego. She was previously a Board Member and Presenter for the Occupational Therapy Association of California. Jennifer was a National Workshop Presenter and Consultant for Handwriting Without Tears™ for 4 years and has over 19 years of experience using the Handwriting Without Tears™ program with pre-school, elementary, and middle school aged children of all ability levels.
